Technology and Media
Using technology can not only support your instruction, but, also, allow you to reach a larger audience! Strategic and thoughtful use of media platforms, such as images, videos, and audio, can enhance your designs to better engage and explain your topic!
Media Design Document
As part of my Master’s Degree, I created a course to help college students develop a personal brand. This course utilized various media, including creative commons images and sounds. OER components, and images/videos created by me.
This portion of my design document for this learning experience details each media: tools used and outlining related Mayer’s Multimedia Design Principles and Made-to-Stick principles for each media piece.

Learning Management Systems are great tools for hosting learning experiences, however, there are a lot to choose from! During my Master’s Degree, I reviewed four popular LMS to compare are contrast their features in terms of LTI, SCORM, data analytics, and other features.
This scavenger hunt reflects my understanding of the technology tools that can be used to disseminate learning experiences and all of the features that can be used for the betterment of the learning experience and design process.
